Even if you don't suffer yourself you may have heard the phrase 'I don't feel I can get out of bed'.
We all have those days, some more than others.
So while you're gearing yourself up to do anything (even when going to the bathroom seems like Mount Everest) write a to-do list with everything and I mean everything.
Go to the toilet. Lunch. Shower. Get dressed.
This way although the list is horrendously long it is even more satisfying when you clear the list point by point giving you a sense of achievement and accomplishment.
When it comes to work make 3 lists.
Easy/quick. Medium. Hard/long. Now do 1 thing from the hard list 2 from the medium list and 3 from the easy list.
If you are a morning person do the hard part first then the rest. Or if your brain kicks in more in the afternoon (like me) do the easy/medium ones first.
In this western world, we commonly work 9-5 and the evening is for sitting and watching EastEnders.
Personally, I'd prefer to sleep in, get the quick jobs done before lunch then work to 9/10pm. Unfortunately, this does tend to cause issues if your partner has a different body clock to you. Try and find that comprise.
You may find that by starting later (even though you work fewer hours) you still get the same amount of work done.
Work to YOUR body clock.
